Sea Products

Sea Products based in Dury Auckland have recently taken delivery of this Domett Truck and Trailer built 9 axle Scania. The trailer is fitted with SAF Intradisc axles, Alcoa 19.5 Level 1 alloy wheels and a WABCO braking package.

Keith Andrews

This Mitsubishi Fuso is one of the many units built by Transport and General Engineering for Keith Andrews Trucks. Both the truck and 4 axle trailer are running Edbro rams controlled by OMFB tipping gear and 6mm alloy bins with sealed tail doors. The trailer also includes SAF Intradisc axles, Alcoa 19.5 Level 1 alloy wheels and a WABCO braking package including a Smartboard for trailer weights. The truck and trailer are coupled by a 5050BNZ Ringfeder which is distributed in NZ by Gough Transpecs / Gough TWL and up-rated especially for NZ conditions.

Toll

Timothy Rae from Toll has recently taken delivery of this Domett Truck and Trailer built 9 axle MAN in the Timaru region. The trailer is fitted with SAF Intradisc axles, Alcoa 19.5 Level 1 alloy wheels and a WABCO braking package.

Mills Albert Limited

4 Axle Tipping Bin Trailer manufactured by Gary Douglas Engineering in Palmerston North for Mills Albert Limited of Paraparaumu and used specifically for rock cartage. The unit features SAF Intradrum 19.5 axles & air suspension, WABCO braking system, Alcoa alloys, Edbro NCS130E464 ram, full Hardox 6.85m tipping body with 1m high sides, high tensile chassis rails,  4.2m wheelbase, GVM 30,000kg & Tare of 7000kg.

Philip Wareing Limited

Philip, Mark and Simon Wareing who base their transport buisness at Methven in Canterbury have recently put another Lusk Engineering 9 Axle truck Alloy bathtub truck and trailer into service. The trailer is fitted with SAF intradisc axles, Alcoa 19.5 Level one alloy wheels, and a WABCO braking package. Edbro rams have been fitted to both the truck and the trailer along with OMFB tipping equipment.

RMD Transport

This 9 axle unit was built for Mark Sherson of RMD Transport in Mt Maunganui by Transport And General Engineering in Hamilton. It is the 9th Cat truck to go into operation in the RMD fleet. The combination is running Alcoa wheels, Edbro rams and is coupled courtesy of Ringfeder. The trailer is running SAF Intradisc axles, and WABCO EBS braking.

Gill Construction

Another 9 axle unit that went on the road earlier this year for Tony Gill from Gill Construction Co Ltd in Blenheim. The "Blue Raider" was built by Transport And General Engineering in Hamilton. The trailer is running SAF Intradisc axles, Alcoa Wheels, Edbro rams and a WABCO EBS braking package.

Beckers Transport

Recently Bruce and the team at Beckers Transport in Oturehua put on a new LOS Truck and 5 axle trailer built by Modern Transport Trailers in Invercargill. The unit is running on SAF Intradisc axles Alcoa alloy wheels and a WABCO braking package. This versatile unit is often seen all over Central Otago and beyond.

Ferguson Trucking

Modern Transport Trailers (MTT) recently built this 9 axle combination for Laurie and Nicki of Ferguson Trucking of Milton. This unit is fitted with SAF Intradisc axles polished Alcoa alloy wheels and a WABCO braking system. Kimax 2 scales are fitted to the truck and the WABCO Smartboard is used for looking after the axle weights on the trailer. An OMFB twin-output PTO supplies the power to a Scarlett's blower unit. This unit can be seen on the roads of Canterbury, Otago and Southland.

JDC

JDC of Te Awamutu have taken delivery of their stunning new DAF CF85 and 4 axle trailer. The unit is designed to achieve maximum versatility over various applications such as aggregate, fertilizer and stock food cartage. This DAF 7 axle unit (6x4 truck and 7.25m long 4 axle trailer) under VDAM rules is a 44 tonne gross unit and has the capability under HPMV to cart 50 tonne on an approved and designated HPMV permitted route. The truck is running an OMFB PTO & pump with Edbro hoist. The trailer runs on SAF 19.5" Intra-Disc air suspension axle, Alcoa LvL 1 wheels, WABCO EBS brake system with Smartboard all supplied by Transpecs.

Maheno Transport

Chase from Maheno Transport in North Otago has put on this nice new Scania fitted with a Transport Engineering Southland’ lift outside tipping body and matching 5 axle trailer  The trailer is a 10.5 metre unit with a 1500 fixed front and 9 metre tipping deck  The trailer is fitted with SAF Intradisc axles, Alcoa wheels and WABCO EBS with integrated electronically controlled air suspension (ECAS) controlling the lift axle at the rear.

Goodman Fielder

This 6 axle B-Train built by Fairfax Industries is fitted with SAF widetrack Intradisc axles running on 22.5 Alcoa super single alloys. It features a WABCO braking package with integrated electronically controlled air suspension (ECAS). It is also fitted with a sliding fifth wheel between the two trailers so the rear unit can butt up to the front unit for ease of loading.

Dibble Transport

Dibble Transport's latest 7 axle unit recently hit the road. This unit is running an OMFB PTO & pump, and Edbro hoist in the truck. The trailer features  SAF 19.5" Intradisc air suspension axle, Alcoa polished Durabright wheels and WABCO EBS brake system with Smartboard.

South Fuels

John and the team at Lowes Industries have just completed this new trailer for Jim Wilson at Southfuels. The trailer has been designed for the new Vdam rules and is also prepped ready for the easy installation of a 5th axle if and when it is required. The trailer is fitted with SAF Intradisc axles, Alcoa alloy wheels and is stopped with a WABCO braking package. The trailer will be seen running all over the South Island delivering fuel.

Pro Tranz

Steve and his team at Transport Engineering Southland have just completed this quad for Gerard Daltry of ProTranz in Christchurch. The 23 cubic metre capacity bottom dumper is fitted with SAF Widetrack BI9 axles and Alcoa super single wheels and tyres. It also has the WABCO brake and suspension controlling the lift axle kit that this quad is also featured with.

Quigley Contracting

David Lusk and his team in Ashburton have just completed two of these truck and trailer combinations for Quigley Contracting. The truck and trailers are fitted with EDBRO twin underbody hoists and OMFB hydraulics. The trailers feature SAF Intradisc axles, Alcoa alloy wheels, WABCO EBS braking system and suspension kits, and a Ringfeder couples the truck and trailers together.

GNR Transport

Wellington based Toll Contractor’ Graham Ofoski of GNR Transport has recently put  these two new Domett built units into service. Keep an eye out for them delivering Resene Paints around NZ. The trailers include SAF Intradisc axles, WABCO EBS brakes and Alcoa wheels supplied by Transpecs. The curtains were also supplied and fitted by Tauranga Canvas.

Southern Transport

Steve and the Transport Engineering Team in Invercargill have just completed this stunning truck and trailer combination for Geoff and his team at Southern Transport. The "Bulk tipping trailer" is fitted with the SAF Intradisc axle and air bag suspension, Alcoa alloy wheels and a WABCO E series braking system with integrated ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) which automatically controls the lift axle function when empty. The truck and trailer will be seen carting product all over Southland in the hands of both its drivers’ Graeme and Harvey.

Nelson Petroleum Distributors (NPD)

Lowes Industries in Christchurch have recently completed this stunning tanker unit for Nelson Petroleum Distributors delivering fuel to their sites all over the South Island. The 5 axle trailer which was built with Gough Transpecs supplied SAF ZI9 IntraDisc axles and suspension are complimented with Alcoa Durabright alloy wheels and WABCO TEBS-E braking system including electronically controlled air suspension (ECAS).

Road Science & Tranzliquid

This outstanding tanker is proof that there is no need to sacrifice good looks while maintaining the highest level of safety. This unit is a joint venture between Road Science and Tranzliquid both based in Mt Maunganui. With the latest tanker designed to focus on safety and improved functionality, the transportation of roading products has now become even more safe and efficient.

The tanker is equipped with TWL’s sister company’ Gough Transpecs market leading products from the ground up. It includes polished Alcoa super single wheels, SAF Bi9 IntraDisc Widetrack axles for improved SRT's and a WABCO EBS braking system. The safety features do not stop there with a unique double hand rail system and pump controls located at the top of the tanker for all round visibility while operating. The design is the brainchild of a collaborative team of Road Science and Tranzliquid tanker drivers, transport providers, senior management and Road Science transport personnel.

Trounce Transport

Ian Trounce of Trounce Transport has recently put on this new 9 axle ‘blower unit’ based out of his yard in Ashburton. David Lusk and his team at Lusk Engineering in Ashburton built the unit complete with OMFB twin output PTO supplying power to the OMFB twin spool tipping valve that controls the Edbro rams fitted to both the truck and trailer. The trailer is running on SAF ZI9 IntraDisc axles and suspension, Alcoa LvL ONE alloy wheels and WABCO TEBS-E looks after the braking and suspension. All product detailed was supplied by Gough Transpecs.

Dougherty Transport

Dougherty Transport of Masterton have just put this 9 axle unit into service featuring sister company Gough Transpecs’ products. Built at Domett Truck & Trailer in Tauranga it is running SAF IntraDisc axles, Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels and a WABCO EBS brake system with SmartBoard.  It is coupled with a 5050BNZ Ringfeder.

CTL

This unit is running Gough Transpecs’ supplied SAF IntraDisc axles Alcoa alloy wheels and a WABCO EBS brake system. Everyone involved has embraced the capabilities of WABCO's intelligent systems which also has the ability to control a lift axle and an off-road manoeuvre assist system. The WABCO SmartBoard has been upgraded to the OptiLink system which allows the driver to be able to get the trailer information including weights to an in-cab tablet via a wireless connection.

VM Mason

This new 9 axle unit has recently been built by Domett Truck & Trailers for VM Mason. The trailer features Gough Transpecs’ supplied SAF IntraDisc axles, Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels and a WABCO EBS brake system with SmartBoard. The combination is coupled together with a 5050BNZ Ringfeder.

RD Petroleum

RD Petroleum’s new DAF 8x4 18000L and Tanker Solution’s manufactured 5 Axle 25000 for Jet A1 pumped deliveries running HPMV. This unit also features Gough Transpecs suppied SAF Zi9 - 19.5 " axles and WABCO TEBS-E braking. RD Petroleum operates tankers from bases in Nelson, West Coast, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin & Invercargill.

Central Machine Hire

Steve and his team at Transport Engineering in Southland (TES) have recently finished the fit up of a new Mack tractor unit and matching three axle bottom dumper trailer for Central Machine Hire based in Wanaka. The trailer has been fitted with the popular SAF IntraDisc axles and is complemented with a set of Alcoa alloy wheels. A WABCO braking package controls the brake and suspension and a Holland Kompensator keeps the units connected. All these components were supplied by Gough Transpecs.

Construction Distributors

Transport & General have recently delivered this 7 axle unit for Construction Distributors, a subsidiary of the Celtic Transport Group. It features SAF IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brake system with Smartboard, Alcoa alloy wheels and Edbro hydraulic rams, all supplied by Gough Transpecs. 

Everfresh Transport

Everfresh Transport have recently taken delivery of this Domett Truck & Trailer built 9 axle unit. The trailer incorporates SAF IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brake system and Alcoa Durabright alloy wheels, all supplied by Gough Transpecs.

Wilcox

Domett Truck & Trailer have recently delivered this 9 axle unit to Wilcox to help get your Perlas on the table on time and in excellent condition. The trailer featured SAF IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brake system and Alcoa Durabright alloy wheels, all supplied by Gough Transpecs.

Calder Stewart

Croydon and his team at Edwards Engineering in Balclutha have just completed a new 5 axle logging trailer for Calder Stewart who are based in Milton. The trailer has been built using SAF IntraDrum axles, Alcoa Lvl1 alloy wheels and a WABCO EBS braking system, all supplied by Gough Transpecs. 

Toll Kerikeri

Dick Parker from Roadmaster delivered this 9 axle unit to Mike Brockless of Toll Kerikeri. It is running 19.5 SAF IntraDisc axles, Alcoa alloy wheels and WABCO EBS brakes, all supplied by Gough Transpecs. 

PTS

Built by Jackson Enterprises for PTS, this trailer features 17.5 Alcoa rims, SAF drum brake axles & air suspension, Rothe Erde ballrace turntable, and WABCO braking with SmartBoard, all supplied by Gough Transpecs.

Cooks Transport

Built by Jackson Enterprises for Cook Transport in Hyde, this trailer features 17.5 IMT disc brake axles, SAF modular air suspension, Rothe Erde ball race turntable and WABCO braking system, all supplied by Gough Transpecs.

Fulton Hogan Christchurch

Fulton Hogan Christchurch have recently taken delivery of this new Volvo unit built  by Transport and General Engineering in Hamilton. It features Edbro rams, OMFB hydraulic controls, SAF 22.5 IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brake system and Alcoa aluminium wheels, all supplied by Transpecs. The unit is coupled by a 5050BNZ Ringfeder.

Holmes Group

Mills-Tui is proud to have designed and built a new billet bin truck and trailer unit for Holmes Group. With a unique design the trailer is able to be loaded into the prime mover by either wheel loader or in the bush with a grapple. The trailer incorporates SAF Z9 disc brake axles on a SAF modular suspension. The axles were custom built with a narrow track by SAF in Germany, eliminating the need to cut and re-certify the axles in New Zealand. As this is a factory built axle the warranty was maintained. The trailer also runs a WABCO EBS brake system and is connected by a 5050BNZ Ringfeder coupling.

J Swap

J Swap have recently added this new 9 axle unit to their fleet. Built by Warren Auger Bins in Matamata, this is an open top design bin for ease of loading without specialised equipment. The trailer is running SAF ZI9 IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brakes, Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminium wheels and is connected by a 5050BNZ Ringfeder coupling.

Wilson Bulk Transport

This Truck and trailer combination is yet another outstanding example of what the team at David Lusk Engineering in Ashburton regularly produces. The Volvo has an Edbro ram and OMFB hydraulics fitted and the trailer is running WABCO EBS with SmartBoard on SAF 19.5” IntraDisc axles, the fifth axle being a lift axle. The trailer is also fitted with a walking floor system as specified by Wilson Bulk Transport.

Douglas Logging, featuring SAF TIRE PILOT

Douglas Logging have recently taken delivery of this outstanding 9 axle unit built by Patchell Industries. The trailer is running SAF Zi9 IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brakes and Alcoa alloy wheels. This trailer also incorporates SAF Tire Pilot System to keep the trailers tyres at the optimum pressure at all times.

GJ Sole

GJ Sole have recently taken delivery of this 9 axle log unit built by Patchell Industries. The trailer features SAF Zi9 IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brakes and Alcoa alluminium wheels.

Wilkins Farming Co

Another beautifully presented unit from Warren Auger Bins for Wilkins Farming Co of Gore. This unit will carry stockfeeds and the company’s grain around Southland. This build features SAF IntraDisc axles and suspension, Alcoa aluminium wheels, WABCO EBS braking and intelligent trailer technology, all supplied by the Gough Transpecs team.

Holmes Group

These are just two of the twenty new 9 axle log units Patchell Industries have put on the road for Holmes Group this year. The trailers are running SAF Zi9 IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brake system and are coupled to the mighty Kenworth with a 5050BNZ Ringfeder built especially for New Zealand’s toughest conditions.

Waharoa Transport

The latest 8 axle unit to join the fleet at Waharoa Transport. Built by Warren Auger Bins in Matamata the trailer is running the latest SAF Zi9 IntraDisc axles, WABCO EBS brake system & Alcoa alloys. The wide open top design of these bins allows ease of loading.
